🔀 Returns & Exchange Policy
Changed your mind? No problem - you can return your jewelry within 30 days of purchase. The jewelry you bought online can be returned via mail or in-person in our store, and the other way around.
Important: The jewelry must be in its original condition, without visible signs of wear. Otherwise, we unfortunately cannot offer a full refund. Please package your order as received to protect the jewelry from scratches.

Returning or exchanging an item at Maitea is simple. Just use our smart Maitea Returns Portal - enter your order number, email address, or postal code to find your order and get started.
Returns are conditionally free - here's how it works:
🇩🇪 Within Germany
- You buy jewelry for +€40, return jewelry, and the remaining value stays above €40 → Return shipping is free.
- You buy jewelry for less than €40 and pay the shipping fee → Return shipping is free.
- You buy jewelry for +€40, return jewelry, and the remaining value drops below €40 → Return shipping is chargeable.
But staying with us pays off! We have a solution - if you choose the gift card as your refund method, you save on return shipping costs and get 10% extra value on top <3
Why? We're a local business still in the growth phase, so we must watch our costs closely so that we can improve for you 💖
Please note: For each additional return from the same order, a shipping fee of €3.00 applies.
🌎 Outside of Germany
Returns must be individually arranged and the costs covered by the customer. Unfortunately, we currently have no way to generate return labels ourselves. We appreciate your understanding while we work on a solution in the meantime.
🔄 Exchanges
Got the wrong size, color, or design? The first exchange is always free.
If you choose a higher-value product, our Maitea portal automatically calculates the difference to pay.
If you choose a lower-value product, we’ll refund you the remaining amount.
Your new piece will be shipped as soon as we have received your exchange.
Please note: For each additional exchange from the same order, a shipping fee of €3.00 applies.
💳 Refunds
Once your return arrives, we’ll process your refund right away. You can choose between:
Refund to your original payment method
Refund as a Maitea gift card with a 10% bonus - no expiry date, yours to use anytime
