What materials do you use?Updated 4 hours ago

Medical grade & recycled stainless steel

For the parts of our jewelry that touch your skin most directly — like the pin of every earring — we always use medical grade stainless steel. This ensures maximum safety, even for highly sensitive skin, and cannot be replaced with recycled steel.

For the main body of our earrings, rings, and necklaces, we use 304 stainless steel. This material is also hypoallergenic, extremely clean, and long-lasting. It can be made from recycled sources — which means many of our pieces are not only safe and durable, but also more sustainable.

PVD-coated medical grade stainless steel

For our gold, rose gold, and black finishes, we use PVD coating on medical grade stainless steel. This creates a strong, long-lasting layer that is waterproof, sweat-proof, and resistant to fading. It is also free of toxins, hypoallergenic and safe to wear even the most sensitive people.

925 sterling silver

We use certified 925 sterling silver, which is nickel-free and safe for sensitive skin. Silver can naturally develop a light patina over time, but it can be easily cleaned and refreshed.

925 sterling silver with 18-carat gold (0.5 microns thickness)

For a rich golden look, we use a thick 18-carat gold coating over 925 sterling silver. At 0.5 microns, the layer is thicker than standard gold plating and designed to last longer — though it is not fully waterproof.
Ensure to take it off when washing your hands and showering to ensure the gold coating lasts longer.

You’ll always find the exact material of each piece listed on its product page. For more detailed product information, feel free to look at our Blog posts or talk to us in person - we are material nerds and would love to answer all your questions.
